For over thirty years, ORIGO Education has believed that the best mathematics education comes from a spirit of innovation and continuous research into the best teaching and learning practices found throughout the world. Why Stepping Stones?

By utilizing the research-based Spaced Learning Approach, Stepping Stones offers a unique teaching and learning experience. Rather than cramming each topic into a concentrated period of time, which often results in forgetting the math, content is spread across the year. This gives students opportunities to engage with the content before a period of deliberate practice—developing mastery which is retained and reduces the need for continuous reteaching.

Research indicates that with a Spaced Learning Approach, students can achieve the equivalent of 1.5 years of learning within a single school year. This approach is especially effective in math education, as each new skill builds on the foundation of future mathematical learning.
