ORIGO and Texas
Ready-made resources designed to support and strengthen mathematical thinking
The TEKS-aligned Think Tanks provide ready-to-use opportunities for Grades 1–6 students to apply learning, support practice, foster thinking skills, and increase procedural fluency. Students engage in problem situations requiring them to reason mathematically and quantitatively.
Each Think Tank box is organized into 12 engaging sets with 20 task cards in each set. There is a total of 240 task cards in each Think Tank box. The cards are thoughtfully sequenced to increase in complexity, supporting scaffolded independence as students build confidence and competence.
Think Tank cards can be used to reinforce practice during Tier 1 instruction and are flexible enough for whole-group, small-group, or independent learning in a variety of settings. They seamlessly complement any core mathematics program.
Student progress can be monitored using a student-guided tracking sheet or pre- and post-assessments. Teacher notes are included to support clarity and consistency in implementation, ensuring that the experience is both meaningful and impactful for students.
Think Tanks for Grades 1-6 are offered in four categories, covering math practices and processes.
• Thinking Mathematically and Problem Solving enables students to develop and apply problem-solving skills across five strands (number and operations, algebra, geometry, measurement, and statistics and probability).
• Computation and Number Sense develops number sense and thinking strategies for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Measurement and Geometric Thinking focuses on attributes and geometric shape while practicing core visual, spatial, and reasoning skills.
• Reasoning with Fractions Builds concepts and reinforces operational skills of fractions, decimals, and ratios.
More than alignment — Think Tanks delivers instructional confidence for Texas educators.

Book & Box of Fact Strategies: Addition & Subtraction
Fact Fluency Built on Understanding — Not Memorization
Book & Box of Fact Strategies: Addition & Subtraction helps students develop automaticity through proven thinking strategies aligned with grade-level expectations. Rather than relying on rote memorization, students build number relationships, flexibility, and confidence — strengthening the foundation for future mathematics.
Designed to support both Tier 1 core instruction and Tier 2 intervention, the program provides structured, strategy-based lessons that meet students where they are while keeping them connected to grade-level content.
Clear instructional routines and targeted practice help close fluency gaps without sacrificing conceptual understanding. The result is faster recall grounded in reasoning — not guesswork.
Currently in the process of approval through the Texas IMRA vendor review, Book & Box of Fact Strategies reflects the rigor and expectations of Texas classrooms.
Book & Box of Fact Strategies: Multiplication & Division
Strengthen Multiplicative Reasoning with Strategy-Based Fluency
Book & Box of Fact Strategies: Multiplication & Division develops fact fluency through meaningful strategies that reinforce number sense and conceptual understanding. Students learn to see patterns, relationships, and structure — building lasting fluency that supports problem-solving and multi-step reasoning.
Ideal for both Tier 1 instruction and Tier 2 intervention, the program offers focused, flexible support that can be implemented across classrooms or used to address unfinished learning.
By strengthening multiplicative reasoning — not just recall speed — schools help students build confidence and readiness for upper-grade mathematics.
The program is currently under review for inclusion on the Texas IMRA approved vendor list, aligning with the standards and instructional priorities of Texas districts.
